Mr Fox and Mrs Polar Bear exclusive interview!

image
Please meet Mr Fox and Mrs Polar Bear.
Mr Fox and Mrs Polar Bear love adventures.
And we love them having adventures. Because their adventures make us chuckle and smile.
We are very grateful that they managed to take a little break from their hectic explorers lives to talk to us.

Where did you two meet?
It was a few years ago now...Mr Fox was doing what he did every Saturday night; gathering the ingredients for his Sunday lunch. He'd been hustling chickens his whole life without a hitch, it was second nature to him. But this time was different; just as he was about to bag his bird, a white polar bear shrieking "BEANS!" appeared from nowhere. Hurtling towards him, carting an overflowing bag of beans behind her, she was being pursued by a rather angry looking farmer wielding a pitch fork. Mr Fox still isn't exactly sure what happened next. He woke up several hours later being nuzzled by a polar bear he thought at first was going to eat him. She didn't though. She began to follow him around instead. They've been together ever since.

Who is the happiest? Mr Fox or Mrs PB?
Mr Fox is a very happy fox, and Mrs PB is a very happy polar bear! Who's happiest depends on what they're up to. A can of beans in her paws, and Mrs PB's the happiest bear in all the world. Busy building in his workshop, and Mr Fox is the happiest fox in the world. We're not sure who would be happier if they were both doing their favourite thing at the same time - but as she's bigger, Mrs PB seems to think it would be her!

What has so far been your most fun adventure?
It was a difficult choice, but Mr Fox eventually picked 'Jurassic Splat', the time when he and Mrs PB sailed off in search of seals, but accidentally ended up in the jungle. Discovering a fierce dinosaur along the way, thanks to Mrs PB's skill with a rolling pin, they still made it home in time for dinner without being gobbled up! Mrs PB's favourite adventure would probably be better described as a mis-adventure. Despite the trouble it caused, she still likes to reminisce over the time when she stole the Mona Lisa from the Louvre and made some modifications. Check it out here.

What new adventure have you got planned?
It's hard to predict what trouble Mrs PB will get into next, but they do have a few adventures in the pipeline. Mr Fox has been meaning to build a yellow submarine for a long time now, and he'd also like to do a series of science lectures. He'd quite like a trip to space too. For now, Mrs PB is going to concentrate on collecting and eating more beans.

Thank you Mr Fox and Mrs Polar Bear. Follow their adventures here, or here and here.
